Podcasts are like radio programmes except they are served over the internet instead of radio transmitters.  In the same way that you need a radio to pick up the programmes, you need some special software to pick up podcasts. 

Once the software (called a Podcast client or POD CATCHING SOFTWARE) has been told where to find the programme list (the RSS or XML feed) it will automatically download each programme as it becomes available.  You can tell the software where the RSS or XML feed is, by RIGHT clicking the RSS or XML icon (ours can be found at the top of any of our show pages on the HOME page of this website or  BTPodshow.com) look for the orange and white icons...

Select copy link location, then you PASTE the location into your pod catching software (see help page of your software for details of how to do this).
